Happy Father's Day to all the amazing dads out there! I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. Just a reminder that I will be away all week on the Grade 8 grad trip in Quebec City. I will be unable to respond to emails so please speak to the supply teachers if you need anything or have any questions.  I will miss my munchkins very much!

* I have sent home missed work and completed assignments with your child. Please keep all papers at home. You may choose to finish up various tasks with your child. I will not be marking anything when I return from the trip.

The kids made unique presents for their dads! They worked so diligently that I had to give them extra time to finish up. Every present was very original :)

A little surprise waiting for the kids on cucumber day.

We played parachute games with our reading buddies. We had way too much fun!

We had a blast making our own fidget spinners. Everyone was busy problem solving and helping each other. There was so much learning happening!

Math and fidget spinners

We dabbed and danced on my birthday!

STEM Challenge: Make a paper box that can fit exactly 20 cubes.

We used number lines to add and subtract numbers to 20.

We sorted and counted all our plastic coins.

We said goodbye to Mr. Chocrane. He volunteered in our classroom every single week. We hope he has a fantastic summer!
